Google は先日 2025 年 4 月 28 日（月）に、通常は開発者向けに配信している Android プラットフォーム関連の最新情報オンラインイベント「The Android Show（#TheAndroidShow）」の特別版「The Android Show: I/O Edition」を、2025 年 5 月 21 日（火）～ 2025 年 5 月 22 日（水）の 2 日間開催する開発者向けイベント「Google I/O 2025」に先駆けて、2025 年 5 月 14 日（水）2 時（深夜）に配信すると発表しました。
「The Android Show」は、Google が Android 開発者向けに四半期ごとに配信しているオンラインイベントですが、2025 年 5 月 14 日（水）2 時に開催される「The Android Show: I/O Edition」は、その名の通り「Google I/O 2025」に先駆けた特別版で、「YouTube ライブ」によるライブ配信形式で行われます。
