Fitbit Premium/Nest Aware「Google One」統合【英国】

Google 有料クラウドストレージサービス「Google One」に、なんと Fitbit サブスクリプションサービス「Fitbit Premium」と Nest 製品向けサブスクリプション型見守りサービス「Google Nest Aware」のが統合された模様です。

これは、英国ユーザーが海外掲示板 reddit に投稿した内容で、Google から公式な発表が行われていないことはもちろん、それを示す公式ページなども今のところ用意されていません。また現時点では、「Fitbit Premium」「Google Nest Aware」の「Google One」統合は英国ユーザー間で報告されているため、いまのところ英国のみで展開されている模様です。

その内容はと言うと、「Google One」の［2TB］以降のプランに加入しているユーザーに対して、「Fitbit Premium」と「Google Nest Aware」が「Google One」特典として利用できるようになる旨の DM が送られてくるというもの。この DM を受け取ったユーザーが「Fitbit Premium」「Google Nest Aware」メンバーシップの場合、「Fitbit Premium」「Google Nest Aware」メンバーシップのキャンセルと払い戻しが行われます。

特に「Fitbit Premium」は、「Google Pixel Watch」「Google Pixel Watch 2」を代表した Fitbit デバイスユーザーはほぼ必須の、月額税込み 640 円 or 年額税込み 6,400 円のサブスクリプションサービスです。「Google One」の［2TB（月額税込み 1,300 円）］以降のプランに加入することでこれが無料となるということは、なかなかの恩恵と言えます。
