Windows一本化！Samsung Galaxy Book「Quick Share」2025年5月28日（水）提供終了

Google は先日 2025 年 4 月 16 日（水）に、Android 近距離共有機能「Quick Share」の Microsoft Windows 版「Quick Share」最新アプリバージョン v1.0.2180.0 を公開しました。

そして 2025 年 4 月 28 日（月）、一旦公開された Microsoft Windows 版「Quick Share」v1.0.2180.0 の内容が更新されました。

2025 年 4 月 16 日（水）公開時点では、Windows 版「Quick Share」アプリがクラッシュするする不具合の修正と、汎用属性プロファイル「GATT（Generic Attribute）」による通信の信頼性向上の、2 つの不具合修正のみが公開されていたのですが、2025 年 4 月 28 日（月）にさらに、Samsung 製 Windows PC（Samsung Galaxy Book）版「Quick Share」との互換性サポートの 1 項目が追加されました。具体的には、Samsung Galaxy Book 版「Quick Share」は 2025 年 5 月 28 日（水）で提供が終了し、以後は Microsoft Windows 版「Quick Share」をインストールするようリダイレクトされるようになります。

これにより、Samsung Galaxy Book 版「Quick Share」とそれ以外の Microsoft Windows 版「Quick Share」は、Microsoft Windows 版「Quick Share」に統一され一本化されます。

• Fixed an issue that caused the app to crash.
• Improved GATT advertising reliability.
• Renamed and rebranded the app from “Quick Share from Google” to “Quick Share” and introduced support for compatibility with Samsung’s Quick Share app. Support for the Google Quick Share app on Samsung PCs will be terminated on May 28, 2025, at which time the Google Quick Share app on Samsung PCs will redirect the user to install the Quick Share app from Samsung.
