Googleストア「Pixel Fold」など3製品販売終了

Google 公式 EC サイト Google ストアにおいて、折りたたみ式 Google Pixel デバイス「Pixel Fold」、Google Pixel スマートウォッチ「Google Pixel Watch」、Google Pixel Bluetooth イヤホン「Pixel Buds Pro」の 3 製品の販売が、2024 年 8 月 14 日（水）2 時をもって一気に終了しました。

Google ストアにおける「Pixel Fold」「Google Pixel Watch」「Pixel Buds Pro」の販売終了は、それぞれに対する後継機種「Pixel 9 Pro Fold」「Google Pixel Watch 3」「Pixel Buds Pro 2」が、2024 年 8 月 13 日（火）に開催された新型 Google Pixel デバイス発表イベント「Made by Google 2024」にて発表されたため。それぞれ新型 Google Pixel デバイスの発売は少し先ですが、すでに予約も開始されています。

「Pixel Fold」については、丁度 1 年での販売終了。Google Pixel デバイスとしては、結果的に短命でした。ちなみに、Google Pixel スマートウォッチ第 2 世代「Google Pixel Watch 2」は、引き続き販売中です。
