Google は 2024 年 7 月 18 日（木）、米国時間 2024 年 8 月 13 日（火）10 時開催新世代 Google Pixel デバイス発表イベント「Made by Google 2024」に向けた、新しい 30 秒ティザー動画を公開しました。

今回公開された Google ティザー動画には、新世代 Google Pixel デバイス「Pixel 9 Pro」という機種名とそのリアカメラユニット部分初登場しています。ティザー動画の構成としては、“親愛なる古いスマートフォン” に別れを告げるための手紙作成を生成 AI サービス「Gemini」に指示するプロンプトが流れたのち、「Pixel 9 Pro」のリアカメラユニット部分と「Pixel 9 Pro」の文字が登場するという流れです。

新世代 Google Pixel デバイス「Pixel 9 Pro」は正に、「Gemini」時代を代表する AI スマートフォンとなる模様。また「Made by Google 2024」ではおそらく、「Pixel 9」や Google Pixel スマートウォッチ第 3 世代「Google Pixel Watch 3」なども発表されると予想されます。

「Made by Google 2024」は、日本時間 2024 年 8 月 14 日（水）2 時 ～ 3 時の深夜開催です。
