On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the British venture company “Nothing Technologies Limited” began rolling out the “Nothing OS B4.1-260414-1846” software update for the Phone (3), the first smartphone to feature the “Glyph Matrix,” and released the corresponding changelog.
The “Nothing OS B4.1-260414-1846” update released for the “Phone (3)” includes an upgrade from the previous custom OS version “Nothing OS 4.0” to “Nothing OS 4.1.” This is the first update since the “Nothing OS B4.0-260206-1135” software version released on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
This “Nothing OS B4.1-260414-1846” update brings new features such as the AI-powered voice recognition tool “Essential Voice,” alongside general system improvements and bug fixes. “Essential Voice” is a new AI-integrated voice recognition feature.
“Essential Voice” can be launched by tapping the “Essential Voice” icon on the keyboard or by long-pressing the “Essential Key” button while the keyboard is in use.
