最新情報「What’s new in Google Home」2026年9月2日（水）公開

Google は現地時間 2026 年 9 月 2 日（水）、スマートホームサービス「Google Home」関連サービスに対して展開している新機能や改善をまとめた最新情報「What’s new in Google Home」を公開しました。

今回の「What’s new in Google Home」では、「Gemini for Home（早期アクセス）」の音声アシスタントにおけるメディア操作を含む音声コマンドの対応範囲拡大のほか、アラームやリストの作成 / 編集に関する不具合修正と改善、そして「Google Home」アプリの「自動化」機能において、サードパーティによる非公開設定ルーティンの非表示や、「自動化」エディタ画面のアルファベット順並び替え対応など、複数のアップデートが発表されています。

Gemini for Home (Early access)

Voice Assistant

• Expanded capabilities and understanding for media controls: Gemini on speakers and displays now understands a broader range of voice commands across media and home device controls. And, you can now combine media commands with other commands to get things done faster.

Try saying:

• “Turn off the lights and stop the music.”
• “Skip this song and turn on the backyard lights.”
• “Stop captions on this video.”
• Addressed issues impacting alarms and lists: We’ve recently addressed issues that were impacting some users’ ability to create and edit alarms and lists. We also corrected an issue in our Settings UI to make it clear that Google Keep continues to be a supported app.

Automations

• Third-party automation privacy: The app now respects visibility restrictions configured in third-party partner applications, keeping private third party app routines from cluttering your home automation list.
• Alphabetical sorting in the automation editor: Starters, conditions, and actions in the automation editor are now sorted alphabetically, helping you find specific device capabilities quickly.

「Gemini for Home（早期アクセス）」

「Google Home」スマートスピーカーおよび「Google Home」スマートディスプレイの Google AI「Gemini」における音声アシスタントが、メディアやホームデバイスの操作に関するより幅広い音声コマンドを認識できるようになり、さらに不具合修正と改善も行われています。

音声アシスタント

メディア操作コマンドを、他の音声操作コマンドと組み合わせられるようになりました。

“照明を消して、音楽を止めて” “この曲をスキップして、裏庭の照明をつけて” “この動画の字幕を止めて” など、メディア操作コマンドを他の音声操作コマンドと組み合わせて一度に指示できるようになり、これまでより効率的に家電などを操作できるようになっています。

不具合修正 / 改善

一部のユーザーにおいて発生していた、アラームやリストの作成 / 編集に影響していた不具合が修正されました。

あわせて、設定画面の UI についても見直しが行われ、「Google Keep」がサポート対象アプリであることが分かりやすく表示されるよう改善されています。

「Google Home」アプリ

Android / iOS 版「Google Home」アプリでは、オートメーション機能「自動化」に関する改善が行われています。

「自動化」

サードパーティ製パートナーアプリ内で設定された公開範囲の制限が、「Google Home」アプリ側でも尊重されるようになりました。

これにより、サードパーティアプリによる非公開設定ルーティンが、「Google Home」アプリの「自動化」一覧に表示されないようになっています。さらに、「自動化」エディタ内の「スターター」「条件」「アクション」の各項目を、アルファベット順に並び替えられるようになりました。
