2026 年 5 月 26 日（火）発売として、現地時間 2026 年 5 月 7 日（木）に正式発表された、Google 傘下のフィットネストラッカーメーカー Fitbit 製スクリーンレスウェアラブルトラッカー「Fitbit Air」。

というのも、たとえば「Google Pixel Watch 4」を「Fitbit」アプリと接続している場合、「Google Pixel Watch 4」がプライマリウェアラブルデバイスとして登録されるわけですが、「Fitbit Charge 6」や別の「Google Pixel Watch」シリーズを追加登録しようとすると、その追加デバイスがプライマリウェアラブルデバイスとして登録され、「Google Pixel Watch 4」の登録は解除されてしまいます。この仕様により、外出用デバイスと睡眠用デバイス、といったデバイスの使い分けができず、起きてるときも仕事してるときも運動しているときも、1 つのデバイスを使い続けなければいけません。

ただこのウェアラブルデバイス使い分けが、「Fitbit Air」限定で展開されるのか、それとも「Fitbit」アプリからリニューアルされる「Google Health」アプリの機能として「Fitbit Air」以外にも展開されるのかは、今のところ不明です。
