Early Bird Pre-order Program Begins for XREAL AURA Android XR

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026 (local time), XREAL officially announced the “XREAL AURA,” an “intelligent eyewear” device running on Google’s wearable platform, “Android XR,” and began accepting early reservations via the “XREAL Shop.”

With an expected release in the fall of 2026, the “XREAL AURA Benefit Program” has been launched for 15,000 JPY. Please note that this program is not a direct pre-order, but a preliminary reservation pending the confirmation of final pricing and release dates.

While the final price of the “XREAL AURA” has yet to be finalized (only announced to be under $1,500 / approx. 240,000 JPY), participating in the 15,000 JPY early reservation grants a 30,000 JPY discount during the launch campaign period once the price is fixed.

In addition, an early reservation option for the “XREAL AURA Limited Founder’s Edition,” limited to 2,000 units with serial numbers, is also available as the “XREAL AURA First Edition Pass” for 45,000 JPY.

The initial release countries for “XREAL AURA” include the United States, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Bulgaria, Romania, Finland, Portugal, South Korea, and Japan.

“XREAL AURA”

The “XREAL AURA” is a wired “intelligent eyewear” device powered by Google’s “Android XR” platform.

The system is a bundled product consisting of lightweight eyewear equipped with a Sony Micro-OLED display (up to 120Hz refresh rate) and the XREAL X1S spatial coprocessor, paired with a dedicated “Android XR” computing pack powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Reality Elite chipset.

The dedicated computing pack for “XREAL AURA” appears to come in two models: 12GB RAM / 256GB internal storage and 16GB RAM / 512GB internal storage. Both models feature a 4,455mAh battery and support Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The “XREAL AURA” computing pack is equipped with two USB Type-C ports: one for connecting the “XREAL AURA” eyewear and one for charging.
