- In mid-December 2025, the Wear OS version of the “Find Hub” app was released.
- This comes four and a half months after the announcement of the Wear OS “Find Hub” app release in the “Google System Update” on Monday, July 28, 2025.
- The Wear OS “Find Hub” app allows you to locate “Find Hub” compatible devices logged in with the same Google account, just like the location feature of the Android “Find Hub” app. It also enables remote operations such as “Play sound,” “Mark as lost,” “Find route,” and “Factory reset.”
Four and a half months ago, in the July 2025 “Google System Update” release notes published on Monday, July 28, 2025, which included new features to enhance the security and reliability of Android devices, Google announced the release of the Wear OS version of its device location service, “Find Hub” (formerly Find My Device).
However, there was no news after that. Now, four and a half months after the announcement, the Wear OS “Find Hub” app has finally been released in mid-December 2025.
The Wear OS “Find Hub” app can be installed on Google Pixel smartwatches, including the “Google Pixel Watch 3” and later models.

With the Wear OS “Find Hub” app, just like the location feature of the Android “Find Hub” app, you can locate “Find Hub” compatible devices logged in with the same Google account and perform remote operations such as “Play sound,” “Mark as lost,” “Find route,” and “Factory reset.” However, the “Google Location Sharing” feature, which shares a user’s location with other users, is not implemented. It is strictly for locating “Find Hub” compatible devices.
Still, it’s a long-awaited release, coming four and a half months after the announcement. This is becoming a typical story for “Google System Updates.”
