On Friday, April 3, 2026, Google began rolling out firmware version v3.581.0 for its budget-friendly Bluetooth earbuds, the “Pixel Buds A-Series.”
This firmware update for the Pixel Buds A-Series focuses on bug fixes and general improvements to performance and security. There are no new features included in this release.
Firmware updates for the Pixel Buds A-Series are generally applied automatically when connected to a Google Pixel device running Android 10 or later, or any Android device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later with the “Google Pixel Buds” app installed. You can also trigger the update manually while connected to a compatible device that meets these requirements.
It is worth noting that sales of the “Pixel Buds A-Series” officially concluded on the Google Store in late August 2025.
