As a side note, “Fraud Detection” in the “Phone by Google” app is a feature intended for Google Pixel devices from the Pixel 9 series onwards, excluding the “Pixel 9a.” Furthermore, it is currently expected to be a beta rollout for those enrolled as Beta Testers.

“Fraud Detection (Scam Detection)” in the “Phone by Google” app is an AI-powered feature that detects potentially malicious calls, such as scams, and alerts the user during the call. Since “Fraud Detection” does not include a call recording function, it is recommended to use it in combination with “Call Notes,” the built-in call recording feature.
