“Ear (Open)”

The “Ear (Open)” is Nothing’s first open-wearable stereo (OWS) earphone, designed not to block the ear canal.

Utilizing Open Sound technology, the “Ear (Open)” delivers an immersive audio experience while allowing the user to remain aware of their surroundings. It balances high-quality sound and comfort while keeping the user connected to real-world ambient sounds.

The “Ear (Open)” features a patent-pending custom diaphragm, titanium coating, an ultra-lightweight driver, and a stepped design. These components work together to reduce distortion and enhance low frequencies while reproducing crisp, clear highs. Bass performance is further optimized by an automatic Bass Enhance algorithm.

The “Ear (Open)” offers 8 hours of continuous playback on a full charge. Since it does not incorporate noise-canceling technologies like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), the continuous battery life is significantly extended. With the charging case, total playback time reaches up to 30 hours. A 10-minute quick charge provides 2 hours of use.

Additionally, the earphones feature Clear Voice Technology with AI-enhanced processing for crystal-clear calls. The “Ear (Open)” also integrates with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Through the “Nothing X” app installed on the connected device, users can engage in conversations with ChatGPT.
