On Thursday, December 18, 2025, Google began rolling out the new “Data Table” tool to “Studio,” the content generation tool within its research and writing assistant service, “NotebookLM (Google NotebookLM).”
The new “Data Table” tool in NotebookLM’s “Studio” generates data tables based on your notebook’s sources and allows you to export them as Google Sheets files. It supports Japanese and also allows users to specify content using custom prompts during the generation process.


The new “Data Table” tool in NotebookLM’s “Studio” is initially being rolled out to Google One AI plan members with “Google AI Pro” and “Google AI Ultra” memberships. It is scheduled to be made available to all users within the coming weeks.
