On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Google temporarily limited the new “Infographic” and “Slide Generation” features in its content creation “Studio.” These features had just begun rolling out a few days earlier, on Friday, November 21, 2025, for the paid plan ‘NotebookLM Pro’ membership of its Gemini-powered research and writing assistant tool, NotebookLM (Google NotebookLM).
The reason Google temporarily limited the new “Infographic” and “Slide Generation” features in “NotebookLM’s” “Studio” is due to overwhelming demand. In other words, the features have become so popular that they are causing a heavy load on the servers, prompting Google to impose temporary limits on the number of generations.
However, it appears that measures are being taken to reduce the server load, and Google plans to return everything to normal once these measures are complete.
