- It appears that the older smart home speakers, “Nest Mini” and “Nest Audio,” have been discontinued on Google’s official online store, the “Google Store.”
- Accessing the product pages for the “Nest Mini” or “Nest Audio” on the Google Store now automatically redirects users to the “Google Home Speaker” page.
- Both the “Nest Mini” and “Nest Audio” had remarkably long lifespans for Google products, but they have finally been retired from the store.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Google began accepting pre-orders for their new smart home speaker, the “Google Home Speaker.”
However, in conjunction with this, it appears that the older smart home speakers, “Nest Mini” and “Nest Audio,” have been discontinued on the official Google Store. Currently, if you attempt to access the product pages for the “Nest Mini” or “Nest Audio” on the Google Store, you are redirected to the “Google Home Speaker” page.
Both the “Nest Mini” and “Nest Audio” were exceptionally long-lived products for Google, but their time on the store has finally come to an end.

The “Nest Mini” was announced on October 15, 2019, alongside the “Pixel 4” and “Pixel 4 XL,” and was released in Japan on November 22, 2019, about seven and a half years ago. By September of last year, 2025, it was already out of stock in all colors, effectively ending its sales; however, it has now officially been removed from the Google Store entirely.

The “Nest Audio” was announced at the “Launch Night In” new product event on October 1, 2020, about six years ago, and was released both domestically and internationally on October 15, 2020. However, it ran out of stock around July 2023, three years ago, and has now finally been removed from the Google Store.
