- The international media outlet Android Headlines has reported, as an exclusive, the detailed specifications of the landscape-oriented foldable device that Motorola plans to launch.
- Motorola’s first landscape-oriented foldable device is known internally as the “razr flex” (codename: Parker).
- It is expected to feature a “Snapdragon 8 Gen 5” processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
Following Samsung’s “Galaxy Z Fold 8” and Apple’s “iPhone Duo,” Motorola is also planning to launch a foldable device featuring a horizontal wide-screen layout when opened.
While Motorola acknowledged the existence of this wide foldable device by releasing a silhouette image around the time of the “iPhone Duo” announcement event, overseas media Android Headlines reported its detailed specifications as exclusive information in late September 2026. According to Android Headlines, Motorola’s first wide foldable device is known internally as the “razr flex” (codename: Parker).
The “razr flex” is expected to be powered by the same “Snapdragon 8 Gen 5” processor as the “motorola razr fold,” paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The inner main display is rumored to be a 6.92-inch OLED with a resolution of 2364 × 1728, supporting up to a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
The outer cover display is expected to be a 4.97-inch OLED with a resolution of 1736 × 1140.

The battery capacity is reported to be 5,000mAh (dual-cell), supporting up to 25W wireless charging via Qi2 and wired charging via USB-PD. In addition, it will support IP48 / IP49 water and dust resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio, and both nano SIM and eSIM.
Out of the box, it will run Android 17. The power button on the right side will feature an integrated fingerprint sensor, and the device will also include a dedicated physical key for AI functions.
For cameras, it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the rear, with the main camera supporting up to 30x digital zoom. For selfies, there will be 32-megapixel cameras located on both the main display side and the cover display side.
The device dimensions are reported to be 110 × 149 × 5.8 mm when unfolded and 110 × 76 × 12.6 mm when folded, with a weight of 215g. It will reportedly be available in two color options: “PANTONE Coriander” and “PANTONE Dark Botanical Garden,” as shown in the image above.
The “razr flex” is scheduled to arrive in mid-December 2026. Above all, it may be priced lower than the “motorola razr fold,” which costs around 300,000 yen in Japan. However, apart from Motorola releasing the silhouette, this currently remains unconfirmed rumor information from an unspecified source.
