On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Google announced that “Lyria 3 Pro”—the enhanced model of its music generation AI, “Lyria 3,” which was launched on March 25, 2026, for Google Workspace and Google One AI (Plus, Pro, and Ultra) members—is now available for free to non-paying users.
“Lyria 3 Pro” is an advanced version that offers improved customization and supports the generation of tracks up to 3 minutes long. Beyond the ability to specify elements such as intros, verses, choruses, and bridges via prompts, the maximum track length has been increased by six times, jumping from the 30-second limit found in “Lyria 3” to a full 3 minutes.

“Lyria 3 Pro” is available through the Google AI “Gemini” app. Supported languages include English, Korean, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Japanese. The service is available to users aged 18 and older.
However, please note that “Lyria 3 Pro” for non-paying users is limited to 5 generations per day. From the 6th generation onwards, the system will revert to using the standard “Lyria 3” model.
