A button to directly share sent and received emails to “Google Chat” has suddenly started rolling out in the iOS version of the “Gmail” app.
In the iOS version of the “Gmail” app, this new Google Chat direct share button replaces the emoji reaction button previously located in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tapping the button transitions you to the share selection screen for “Google Chat.”
Please note that we have confirmed the rollout of the Google Chat direct share button starting around version v6.0.260907 of the iOS “Gmail” app. Additionally, this feature has not yet been rolled out to the Android version of the “Gmail” app.
