The newly announced features for “Googlebook” are a setup wizard designed to help users learn about multi-device features and check functionalities that can be used in combination with Android devices. “Google Play Services”—likely to be pre-installed as a system app on “Googlebook”—will, from version 26.32 and later, enable users to learn about multi-device features during the “Googlebook” setup and check how to use them alongside Android devices.
Additionally, Google Play Services app v26.32 and later will roll out the “Quick Start” feature for easily setting up new desktop devices using an existing Android device, as well as the ability to enable beta features from the “Cross-device services” settings page. These features are also likely intended for “Googlebook.”
