Google, which has been releasing daily teasers leading up to the “Made by Google” event scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM PT (Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 7:00 AM Japan time), published a new teaser video on Thursday, August 6, 2026, introducing the guests who will be participating in the event.
In this teaser video, not only the next-generation Google Pixel devices, the “Pixel 11” series, but also what appears to be the next-generation Google Pixel smartwatch, the “Google Pixel Watch 5,” was shown for a brief moment. Although rumored for some time, this is the first time Google has officially revealed the next-generation smartwatch, even if just for a split second.
Of course, it was not explicitly introduced as the “Google Pixel Watch 5” and remains a mystery device for now, but it has almost certainly confirmed that a new Google Pixel smartwatch will be announced at “Made by Google.” Well, it’s bound to be the “Google Pixel Watch 5.”
Additionally, it appears that Japanese model and “#TeamPixel” member Ayami Nakajo (@nakajo_ayami) will also be participating in “Made by Google” from Japan.
