Made for Google Quality: A Charge-Through Case for the Google Pixel Watch 4

The third-party “charge without removing” case for the Google Pixel Watch 4, which I recently introduced on this site, has just arrived.

This time, I’ll give it a quick review. Let me say upfront, the quality is so good I’d almost believe it has received the “Made for Google” certification, a title given to accessories certified by Google for Pixel devices.

While my opinion might change after a few days of use, for now, I am extremely satisfied with this product.

So, I immediately unboxed it, put it on the watch, and tried charging it.

As you can see in the lead image, it started charging without any issues. The conductive terminal area is magnetic, which not only maintains a solid connection with the charger but also means the charger stays attached even if you lift the Google Pixel Watch 4 while it’s charging.

However, the balance seems to be maintained by a three-point support system that includes the support from the band. That support from the band is quite important.

That said, compared to the hassle of having to remove the case every time to charge, this has significantly reduced the effort, anxiety, and frustration. I’m very happy with it.

So, I highly recommend this third-party “charge without removing” case for the Google Pixel Watch 4; it’s no exaggeration to say it’s as good as a “Made for Google” certified product. In fact, I’m sure many Google Pixel Watch 4 users will be saved by this.

And what’s more, it only costs around 1,000 yen. I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve come across such an impressive product.
