On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 (local time), Google announced the release of “Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7” for Google Pixel devices enrolled in the pre-release Android OS trial program, the “Android Beta Program.”

“Android 17 QPR1,” which serves as the base for “Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7,” is a beta OS version for the first quarterly platform release (QPR) update following the official launch of “Android 17.” Following the release of “Android 17 QPR1 Beta 1” on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, “Beta 2,” “Beta 3,” “Beta 4,” “Beta 5,” and “Beta 6” were released in stages. Now, we have reached the platform stability release of “Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7.”

“Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7” is being distributed via Over the Air (OTA) software update to Google Pixel devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program, including: Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and Pixel 10a. Notably, since “Android 17 QPR1 Beta 1,” the new generation entry-level Google Pixel device, “Pixel 10a,” has been added as a supported device for the Android Beta Program.

The focus of “Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7” is on bug fixes and improvements. Below are the three bugs fixed in “Quick Settings”:
