The “Pixel 11 Pro Fold” is a new foldable Google Pixel device equipped with Google’s fastest and most powerful custom chip ever, the “Tensor G6,” and the latest “Gemini Nano” model. Compared to the previous-generation “Pixel 10 Pro Fold,” it is about 1 mm thinner and approximately 10% lighter, while also achieving three times the body strength, successfully combining a slim design with enhanced durability.
The “Pixel 11 Pro Fold” is available in two color variations: “Olive” and “Obsidian.” It features 16GB of RAM and comes in two internal storage capacities: 256GB and 512GB models.
The official retail prices are 279,900 yen including tax for the 256GB model and 299,900 yen including tax for the 512GB model. The “Pixel 11 Pro Fold” will be released on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and pre-orders are already open at the online “Google Store” and other retailers.
Additionally, a special “Launch Commemoration Campaign” is underway until 11:59 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026. The campaign offers 49,900 yen in “Google Store Credit” usable for future purchases, along with an increased trade-in value of at least 20,000 yen through the “Trade-in Program.”
Furthermore, it includes special perks such as a 3-month free trial of “YouTube Premium” for new subscribers, expanded Gemini usage limits, 5TB of cloud storage, and a 6-month free trial of “Google AI Pro,” which includes “Google Health Premium.”
“Pixel 11 Pro Fold”
The “Pixel 11 Pro Fold” is the foldable model in the “Pixel 11” series, optimized for the next-generation intelligent system “Gemini Intelligence.”
When closed, it features a 6.5-inch Super Actua display, and when opened, it unfolds into an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display. Both the inner and outer displays boast a peak brightness that is 20% brighter than the previous generation.
The device combines a glass-ceramic cover glass with a matte-finish back made of a shatter-resistant composite material, achieving a slim and lightweight body measuring 10.1 mm thick when folded and weighing 239 g. Combined with a new hinge structure, it achieves three times the strength of the previous generation. It also supports IP68 dust and water resistance standards.
Equipped with the latest “Tensor G6” processor, the “Pixel 11 Pro Fold” delivers up to 50% higher TPU processing performance, up to 20% better power efficiency, and about 15% faster app launch speeds. This enables smooth processing for on-device AI powered by “Gemini Intelligence” and seamless multitasking taking advantage of the large 8-inch screen.
It offers over 24 hours of battery life and supports “Google Pixelsnap,” a magnetic wireless charging standard supporting “Qi 2.2 (up to 25W),” increasing charging speeds by up to 25%.
The camera system has also evolved, featuring a newly enlarged 48-megapixel main camera with a 56% increase in light sensitivity. This allows you to capture vibrant photos and videos even in challenging lighting conditions like night scenes.
“Super Res Zoom,” powered in tandem with the “Tensor G6,” has evolved from 20x in the previous generation to up to 30x.
Unique camera features exclusive to the “Pixel 11 Pro Fold” include “Rear Camera Selfie,” which lets you take selfies using the rear main camera, and “Dual Screen Preview,” allowing you to check shots in real-time on the 8-inch inner display while shooting. By folding it halfway into Tabletop mode, you can shoot hands-free without a tripod.
Additionally, it introduces a new feature called “HiLight,” an LED notification light that lets you notice important notifications even when the smartphone is placed face down. Built-in color LEDs around the camera flash provide notifications based on your conversation status with “Gemini” or custom colors assigned to individual contacts.
OS and security updates are guaranteed for 7 years. With the introduction of post-quantum cryptography via the latest “Titan M3” security chip, it safely protects your data against future threats, making it a device you can cherish and use for a long time.
