The roll-out of this “Google Keep” integration for the “Google Messages” app began in the early part of September 2026. Once Google Keep is integrated into Google Messages, a “Keep notes” option will appear within the “+” menu in the chat screen. Please note that an initial opt-in via “Try it now” is required the first time you use it.

With Google Keep integrated into the Google Messages app, you can now share and update shopping lists, travel notes, and more without ever leaving your chat. Additionally, everyone in a group can view, edit, and add to lists and notes, enabling smooth collaboration right within the chat screen.
