- It appears that the “Google Maps” logo has been completely refreshed.
- We have confirmed that the updated logo has been fully integrated into the Android and iOS versions of the “Google Maps” app.
- It is expected that Google will issue an official announcement regarding the refresh of the “Google Maps” logo in the near future.
In early March 2026, we reported that the logo for the Google mapping service, “Google Maps,” had begun to transition to a new gradient design consistent with the Google AI “Gemini” branding—following the lead of Google, Google Photos, and Google Home.
While the initial refresh was limited to certain areas such as the app drawer, it now appears that the “Google Maps” logo has been fully updated. We have confirmed that the new branding has been rolled out across the Android and iOS versions of the “Google Maps” app.

This marks the first logo update for “Google Maps” in about six years, since February 6, 2020. It is likely that Google will release an official announcement regarding this rebranding in the near future.
