On Tuesday, May 26, 2026 (local time), Google released a list of planned fixes and improvements for the new “Google Health” app, which has been transitioning from the legacy “Fitbit” app since May 19, 2026, a week prior.

The released list for the “Google Health” app is quite extensive, totaling 39 items. These fixes and improvements will be rolled out gradually through the summer of 2026.

Note that the list released this time will be updated periodically as the changes are implemented.

  • Corrected running logs that were incorrectly classified as general workouts for some users
  • Added split data to running summaries

  • Improved map loading times and searchability in exercise summaries
  • Addressed issues with TCX export data for exercises recorded using GPS connected to “Fitbit Air,” as well as exercises recorded using multiple devices/apps connected to the “Google Health” app
