On Monday, January 12, 2026, Google began rolling out new features for its survey form service, “Google Forms”: a response deadline setting and a maximum response limit setting.
Previously, users of “Google Forms” had to manually stop accepting survey responses. However, with the introduction of the response deadline and maximum response limit features, it is now possible to automatically close a survey at a specific date and time or after a set number of responses have been collected.

These new Google Forms features are being rolled out to all users, including those with personal Google accounts, in addition to Google Workspace account users.
