With the “YouTube Premium add-on,” “Google AI Pro” members receive a 14% discount on the “YouTube Premium (Individual Plan),” and “Google AI Ultra” members receive it for free.

When you purchase an individual YouTube Premium plan along with a Google One Premium 2 TB plan or higher, a 14% discount is applied. (Available in select countries. Check the list of eligible countries).

However, please note that the “YouTube Premium add-on” discount is not automatically applied to “Google AI Pro” or “Google AI Ultra” memberships. You must explicitly sign up for the “YouTube Premium add-on.” If you are already a “Google AI Pro” or “Google AI Ultra” member and a “YouTube Premium” subscriber, you will need to cancel your current “YouTube Premium” subscription and then sign up for the “YouTube Premium add-on.”

Furthermore, the canceled “YouTube Premium” subscription is not pro-rated. This means that even if you cancel mid-month, you will be charged for the full month, and you will also be charged for the “YouTube Premium add-on.” In other words, you will be double-charged for one month.

Also, for some reason, your “Google AI Pro” or “Google AI Ultra” membership will also be canceled and you will have to re-subscribe to a new membership. However, this portion is pro-rated, and you will be refunded for the remaining period.

That said, the new “Google AI Pro” or “Google AI Ultra” membership subscription will likely not be pro-rated from the start, so you will still end up being slightly double-charged.

• If you have a Google One Premium membership and are already subscribed to YouTube Premium:

5. In the “Add-ons” section, under “YouTube Premium Individual Plan,” click Remove.
6. Click Proceed to checkout.
7. Review your plan and payment details.
