Google AI’s “Gemini” app has begun rolling out a new template feature for its video generation AI model, “Veo 3.1.”
Previously, video generation using “Veo 3.1” in the “Gemini” app relied solely on instructions provided via prompts. However, with the rollout of the new template feature, users can now give more accurate instructions for video generation by inputting prompts based on a selected template.
In the “Gemini” app, templates for “Veo 3.1” are displayed as a list once you select “Veo 3.1” as the AI model. After that, you simply choose any template and enter your prompt.

The template feature for “Veo 3.1” is currently available on the Web and iOS versions of the “Gemini” app. While it has not yet been released for the Android version, it is expected to begin rolling out shortly.
