On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, Google Japan announced the expanded rollout of its personal AI agent, “Gemini Spark”—currently available for “Google AI Ultra” memberships—to the “Google AI Pro” membership.
“Gemini Spark” was initially launched for “Google AI Ultra” memberships in the US, followed by an expanded rollout to “Google AI Ultra” memberships in regions outside the US, including Japan, in mid-July 2026. Furthermore, the rollout has already been expanded to “Google AI Pro” memberships in the US.
However, Josh Woodward (@joshwoodward), Vice President of Google AI “Gemini”, has already teased the global rollout of “Gemini Spark” for “Google AI Pro” memberships as well.
Now, Google Japan has announced the rollout of “Gemini Spark” to the “Google AI Pro” membership. However, the rollout is expected to take place over the coming weeks, meaning it does not begin immediately today.
