On Thursday, July 30, 2026 local time, Google announced the global rollout of its personal AI agent, “Gemini Spark,” for “Google AI Pro” members, following its launch in the US on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
“Gemini Spark” for “Google AI Pro” members is now rolling out sequentially in over 160 countries worldwide, including Japan. As previously teased, this release is proceeding right on schedule.
“Gemini Spark” was initially launched for “Google AI Ultra” members in the US, and was subsequently expanded to “Google AI Ultra” members in regions outside the US, including Japan. This is now followed by the rollout for “Google AI Pro” members in the US, and now further expanded to “Google AI Pro” members across more than 160 countries worldwide, including Japan.
Furthermore, in the US, “Gemini Spark” has been integrated into the “Chrome” browser service, allowing it to act on behalf of users to book flights and make service reservations using their logged-in accounts and saved passwords. This feature is also planned for future rollout outside the US.
