- These include devices like the JBL Link View and the Lenovo Smart Display series.
- All third-party Google Home devices compatible with Google Assistant released since 2016 will support Gemini for Home.
On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, Google announced a further expansion of the “Early Access” program for “Gemini for Home,” the next-generation voice assistant for Google Home / Nest devices. This program initially began rolling out in the US on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, about a month and a half ago.
As part of this announcement, Google also added third-party Google Home devices (listed as “Third-party speakers”), such as the JBL Link View and Lenovo Smart Display, to the list of “Gemini for Home” compatible devices—something not previously announced. While a specific list of compatible devices has not been released, it is expected that all third-party Google Home devices with Google Assistant support released since 2016 will be compatible with “Gemini for Home.”

“Gemini for Home” is currently rolling out as “Early Access” in the US, but it will expand to other regions outside the US starting in early 2026. Since registration for the “Early Access” program has also opened in Japan, users who sign up will be able to use “Gemini for Home” on their eligible devices from 2026 onwards.
