And now, starting around Monday, October 13, 2025, Google has finally begun accepting registrations in Japan for the “Google for Home” Early Access program, which was initially launched in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. The “Google for Home” launch in Japan was previously announced to begin in the second week of October 2025, and it has started right on schedule.
To register for the “Google for Home” Early Access program, go to the new “Early Access” section within the “Settings” of the Google Home app for Android/iOS and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Please note that registering for “Google for Home” Early Access does not mean you can use the new features immediately. Once you are registered for Early Access, you will be notified as new features are rolled out in “Google for Home.”
