The newly announced “Daily Brief” is an AI agent based on “CC,” an AI agent feature powered by Google’s Gemini. “CC” began rolling out on December 16, 2025, through “Google Labs,” an experimental project platform for early-stage development, specifically for users in the U.S. and Canada. By opting in, the tool integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and the entire web to deliver a comprehensive briefing of your daily schedule, important tasks, and other updates directly to your inbox every morning.
Beyond providing the latest summaries, “Daily Brief” is designed to suggest actionable next steps, actively guiding users toward achieving their goals.
“Daily Brief” will be rolled out sequentially to “Google AI Plus,” “Google AI Pro,” and “Google AI Ultra” members in the United States.
