On Wednesday, August 12, 2026 local time, Google announced a major expansion of supported apps and services for the “Extensions” feature in the Google AI “Gemini” app.
The newly supported apps and services are broadly categorized into four main areas: Productivity / Creative, Local / Entertainment, Music, and Home / Health / Lifestyle.
In the Productivity / Creative category, “Granola” and “Otter.ai” for meeting summarization, along with the website building tool “Wix,” will be added. In the Local / Entertainment category, experience booking services “Fever” and “GetYourGuide,” car rental service “Localiza,” UK restaurant reservation service “OpenTable,” and ticket search/purchase platform “Ticketmaster” will be included.
In the Music category, the “iHeartRadio” and “Pandora” apps will be added, enabling users to discover new radio stations and play playlists. Finally, in the Home / Health / Lifestyle category, home professional search services “Angi” and “Thumbtack,” as well as doctor appointment booking service “Zocdoc,” will be introduced.
These newly supported apps and services for “Extensions” are scheduled to be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks.
