Just three weeks after announcing the new “Gemini 3.6 Flash” AI model on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Google officially announced its next-generation AI model, “Gemini 3.7 Flash,” on Thursday, August 13, 2026, local time.
The newly announced “Gemini 3.7 Flash” is a new AI model based on “Gemini 3.6 Flash,” incorporating developer feedback and algorithmic enhancements. While made available to developers through platforms such as “Google Antigravity,” “Google AI Studio,” and “Android Studio,” it is also rolling out first in “Gemini Spark”—the personal AI agent within the “Gemini” app for “Google AI Ultra” and “Google AI Pro” members.
“Gemini 3.7 Flash”
Launched at a rapid pace just three weeks after the announcement of “Gemini 3.6 Flash,” “Gemini 3.7 Flash” is a Google AI model that delivers significant performance improvements in knowledge-intensive workflows such as software development, web development, finance, law, and life sciences.
In addition to demonstrating high accuracy in coding tasks such as debugging and bug fixing, it has also scored higher than “Gemini 3.6 Flash” in generating websites based on reference designs. Improvements have also been made to its comprehension of complex PDF documents and its ability to automate real-world business workflows.
“Gemini 3.7 Flash” is rolling out first as the base AI model for the personal AI agent “Gemini Spark.” Powered by “Gemini 3.7 Flash,” “Gemini Spark” features improved integration accuracy with Google Workspace apps, enabling users to more efficiently organize files, draft emails, update status documents, and more.
For developers, it will be available through the end of 2026 at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. However, starting Friday, January 1, 2027, prices are scheduled to double to $1.50 and $7.50, respectively.
Additionally, “Gemini 3.7 Flash” is equipped with safety protections to prevent misuse in areas such as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) materials and cyberattacks.
