On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, fitness device manufacturer Fitbit (a subsidiary of Google) announced on its official “Fitbit Status Dashboard” that it has resolved a bug causing issues with accessing “Blood Oxygen (SpO2)” and “Skin Temperature” measurements, which had been primarily affecting the Google Pixel Watch series.
The issue occurred following the March 2026 software update, which began rolling out on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, for the second-generation Google Pixel Watch 2, third-generation Google Pixel Watch 3, and fourth-generation Google Pixel Watch 4. Users reported being unable to access SpO2 and skin temperature data after the update. However, this has been addressed in the latest update for the Fitbit app for Wear OS, version v3.55.1.1 and later.

Users of the Google Pixel Watch 2, Google Pixel Watch 3, and Google Pixel Watch 4 should update their Fitbit app for Wear OS immediately.
