On Friday, December 5, 2025, Google announced four new Autofill (Google Autofill) features rolling out for its Chrome browser service.
The new Chrome Autofill features announced are: improved functionality, expanded Google Wallet integration, a better display for the Chrome app on Android, and significant improvements to address recognition and input. The major improvements to address recognition and input will enhance convenience for address forms, such as adding support for phonetic kana readings of place names for Japanese addresses.
Improved Autofill Functionality

With the improved Google Autofill feature in Chrome, your username/email address will now be automatically filled in when you are logged into your Google Account.
Additionally, your home and work addresses saved to your Google Account will now be instantly autofilled on e-commerce checkout pages. These new features have started rolling out for the Chrome app on desktop, Android, and iOS.
Expanded Google Wallet Integration

With the expanded Google Wallet integration in Chrome, details such as loyalty card numbers, travel details, and vehicle information saved in Google Wallet will also be linked to Google Autofill and automatically filled in Chrome.
This will be rolled out on the Chrome app for desktop and Android.
Improved Display on Chrome for Android

The Google Autofill improvement for the Chrome app on Android will now display suggestions in two lines instead of one, resolving the issue of them being difficult to select.
Major Improvements to Address Recognition and Input

The major improvements to address recognition and input in Chrome will enhance convenience for address forms, such as adding support for phonetic kana readings of place names for Japanese addresses.
