The “XREAL AURA” is smart glasses powered by Google’s wearable platform, “Android XR.”

It is used by connecting the lightweight glasses body (under 95g) via a cable to a dedicated portable computing pack, which houses Qualcomm’s latest “Snapdragon Reality Elite” platform and a battery. The lenses feature a see-through design, allowing users to view the real world while projecting virtual screens and apps across a wide 70-degree field of view (FOV).

Thanks to “Android XR” features, users can access not only standard “Google Play Store” apps but also over 150 apps developed specifically for “Android XR.”

In addition, the “Gemini” AI assistant is integrated, enabling users to ask Gemini questions directly or receive assistance regarding what they are seeing in the real world or on their screen. It also features a “Wired Mirroring” function, which allows users to mirror their laptop screen into virtual space by connecting to a PC via a USB Type-C cable.

The “XREAL AURA” promises to be a next-generation spatial computing device capable of a wide range of applications, from entertainment to building multi-monitor workspaces for work.
