The status remains “February 1, 2026,” and the app version of “Mainline services (Main components),” the system service app responsible for these updates, remains unchanged at v2026-02-01S+.

That said, it is expected to include various bug fixes and security patch updates.

The “Google Play system update” is a system-level update specifically for “Google Play” components, rolled out as part of the broader “Google System Updates.” It primarily manages the security aspects related to “Google Play.” Specifically, it deploys the “Security patch level” updates that are published on the first of every month in the “Android Security Bulletin.”
