As of mid-April 2026, it is now possible to directly join “Google Play Games Leagues,” a competitive community where users can earn more Google Play Points, directly from the “My Page” tab in the Google Play Store for Android.
“Google Play Games Leagues” is a new gaming event featured in the revamped “Google Play Games” platform, which began rolling out in late September 2025. In these limited-time events, users compete against others, and the higher they rank, the more Google Play Points they can earn.
While “Google Play Games Leagues” has been available within the “Google Play Games” app since its launch, users can now access it directly from “My Page” in the Android Google Play Store app. This new feature was announced in the latest “Google System Release Notes,” which summarize updates for the “Google System Updates” that improve the security and reliability of Android devices. It is rolling out in version 50.9 and later of the Google Play Store app for Android.
