On Thursday, August 13, 2026, Google officially announced its next-generation AI model, “Gemini 3.7 Flash,” and began an initial rollout in “Gemini Spark,” the personal AI agent within the “Gemini” app, for “Google AI Ultra” and “Google AI Pro” members.
The following day, local time on Friday, August 14, 2026, the rollout of “3.7 Flash” (Gemini 3.7 Flash) also began as an AI model for the AI search service “AI Mode.” By selecting “3.7 Flash” in “AI Mode,” users can get even more helpful responses.
However, “3.7 Flash” in “AI Mode” is currently available only for English-language environments and is limited to “Google AI Ultra” and “Google AI Pro” members. Furthermore, the Japanese-language version of “AI Mode” does not currently support AI model selection.

Launched just three weeks after the announcement of “Gemini 3.6 Flash,” the next-generation AI model “Gemini 3.7 Flash” is a Google AI model that achieves significant performance improvements in knowledge-intensive workflows such as software development, web development, and finance, law, and life sciences.
In addition to high accuracy in coding tasks like debugging and bug fixing, it has also earned higher evaluations than “Gemini 3.6 Flash” in generating websites based on reference designs. Improvements have also been made in understanding complex PDF documents and the ability to automate actual business workflows.
This “Gemini 3.7 Flash” is being rolled out first as the base AI model for the personal AI agent “Gemini Spark.” With “Gemini Spark” powered by “Gemini 3.7 Flash,” integration accuracy with “Google Workspace” groupware apps is enhanced, enabling users to more efficiently organize files, draft emails, update status documents, and more.
For developers, it will initially be available through the end of 2026 at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. However, starting Friday, January 1, 2027, prices are scheduled to double to $1.50 and $7.50, respectively.
Additionally, “Gemini 3.7 Flash” is equipped with safeguards to prevent malicious use in areas such as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) materials, as well as cyberattacks.
