Although there has been no official announcement from Google yet, a new feature called “Styles” suddenly began rolling out in the Google AI “Gemini” app around Monday, October 19, 2026.
The newly rolled out “Styles” feature in “Gemini” is located inside the sidebar’s “Library” alongside the “Media” tab. It is designed to let you create and save your own unique brand styles using the “Create style” button.
Note that the “Gemini” “Styles” feature is currently being rolled out on the desktop version of the “Gemini” app.

This “Styles” feature in “Gemini” is essentially an integration of “Pomelli (Pomelli by Google Labs),” an experimental promotional material AI generation tool announced by Google on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, directly into “Gemini.” With “Pomelli,” by feeding your company website URL and other resources, the AI learns your writing tone, custom fonts, images, and color palettes to generate a “Business DNA” profile, allowing you to create consistent social media posts and advertising banners.

Similarly, in “Gemini” “Styles,” clicking “Create style” starts a chat-based setup. By providing your business name, website URL, existing logo images, or answering simple questions about your industry, it extracts your brand-specific color palette, fonts, and tone & manner (visual identity) and saves them as a “Style.”
By creating and saving a “Style,” when you generate AI images using the AI image generation model “Nano Banana” for social media images, flyers, banners, logos, or business card designs, you can consistently produce cohesive creatives without having to give detailed instructions on colors and tastes every time. Furthermore, as reported by our site “Jetstream” on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, saved “Styles” are assigned an “@name,” allowing you to call them up and apply them within prompts just like the custom instructions feature “Skills”. In the future, a feature is also expected to roll out that allows users to make their created “Styles” publicly available for third parties to use.

By integrating the brand style definition feature—previously provided as an independent experimental tool called “Pomelli”—as a standard “Gemini” “Styles” feature, it is bound to become an extremely practical tool, especially for sole proprietors and corporate PR/marketing personnel. While “Pomelli” does not support Japanese, the “Gemini” “Styles” feature is available in Japanese.
