- In early October 2026, a “Buy devices” menu was suddenly added to the menu within the Android version of the “Google Play Store” app.
- This provides access to products sold on the “Google Store.”
- The lineup is primarily centered around Google Pixel devices, such as the “Pixel 11” series and “Google Pixel Watch 4 / 5.”
In the “Google System Updates” latest information for July 2025 (Google System Release Notes), which was published on Monday, July 28, 2025 over a year ago and includes new features to enhance the security and reliability of Android-related devices, Google announced the integration of Google’s official e-commerce site, the “Google Store,” into the Android content store app, “Google Play Store.”
More than half a year later, in early March 2026, the integration of the “Google Store” into the Android version of the “Google Play Store” app finally began. Products sold on the “Google Store” started appearing as a spotlight carousel within the “Apps” tab under the heading “Google Pixel on the Google Store.” In other words, that initial integration of the “Google Store” into the Android “Google Play Store” app was merely a temporary display.

However, in early October 2026, a “Buy devices” menu was suddenly added to the menu within the Android “Google Play Store” app, allowing users to access products sold on the “Google Store.” That said, it does not feature every single product sold on the “Google Store”; the lineup is primarily centered around Google Pixel devices, such as the “Pixel 11” series and the “Google Pixel Watch 4 / 5.”
Even so, the new “Buy devices” menu in the Android “Google Play Store” app makes it much easier to purchase each Google Pixel device.

Special offers for Google Pixel devices are also frequently rolled out within the Android “Google Play Store” app. While there are no active offers at the moment, a special promotion commemorating the integration of the “Google Store” into the Android “Google Play Store” app may be launched soon.
