UK-based tech venture “Nothing Technology Limited (Nothing)” officially announced the “Headphone (1) Pro,” a new-generation model in its over-ear wireless headphones category, on Monday, September 28, 2026 (local time).
The official price of the “Headphone (1) Pro” is 64,800 JPY including tax, and it comes in two color options: “Black” and “White.” It goes on sale starting the same day as the announcement.
“Headphone (1) Pro”

The “Headphone (1) Pro” is a new-generation, high-fidelity wireless over-ear headphone from Nothing, featuring a sophisticated body combining rich-textured aluminum and scratch-resistant glass materials, equipped with a triple-driver system.
The equipped triple-driver consists of three units: a 40mm dynamic driver for the low-frequency range, a 13 × 8mm precision dynamic driver for vocals, and an xMEMS driver for the high-frequency range, with each dedicated to reproducing its specific frequency band. The low-frequency range utilizes a new dual-magnet system, delivering a 15% increase in bass punch and a 26% improvement in sensitivity compared to the previous model, the “Headphone (1).”
For vocals, it newly adopts a PEN diaphragm, while the high frequencies utilize a silicon diaphragm with 95 times the rigidity of plastic, ensuring clearer reproduction of pronunciation such as “S” and “T” sounds as well as the subtle textures of instruments.

The playback frequency response is 20Hz to 40kHz, and it has Hi-Res Audio certification for both wired and wireless use. In addition to supporting the LDAC codec, it also enables lossless playback up to 24bit/192kHz when connected via a USB Type-C wired connection. It also supports “Dynamic Spatial Audio” with head tracking, detailed driver-by-driver EQ adjustments via the dedicated “Nothing X” app, and “Personal Sound” to optimize audio according to the user’s hearing characteristics.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) achieves up to 46dB of noise reduction performance thanks to a total of 10 microphones (5 on each side) and a new 8mm silicon baffle. It features adaptive ANC—which automatically adjusts strength based on the surrounding environment and wearing condition—and a transparency mode. During calls, environmental noise cancellation using 2 microphones on each side ensures your voice is delivered clearly.

The main body is crafted from machined aluminum, and the arms use a titanium alloy that is 45% lighter than the “Headphone (1).” A window made of 9H-hardness Panda Glass offers a design that provides a peek into part of the internal triple-driver structure. The ear cushions are 50% softer than the previous model, and the headband has a 10% increase in width and a 12% increase in pad thickness, reducing pressure when worn. It weighs 327g and features IP52 dust and water resistance.
Similar to previous Nothing “Headphone” series, the device features a roller for adjusting volume, playback/pause, and toggling “ANC,” a paddle for skipping tracks and answering calls, and a custom button that can be assigned to invoke “ChatGPT.” Furthermore, a new “Flat EQ” switch has been added, allowing users to switch to a neutral profile stripped of artificial coloration and processing.

Connectivity specifications for the “Headphone (1) Pro” include Bluetooth 6.1, supporting simultaneous dual-device multipoint, low-latency mode, wear detection, and broadcast playback via Auracast. Battery life is up to 68 hours with “ANC” OFF and up to 30 hours with “ANC” ON, and a 5-minute quick charge provides about 4 hours of playback.
The case for the “Headphone (1) Pro” has also evolved. While the “Headphone (1)” and “Headphone (a)” came with simple headphone cases, the “Headphone (1) Pro” adopts a hard case that stores the ear pad section and is shaped like a handbag.
Please note that you cannot charge the “Headphone (1) Pro” while it is stored in this hard case. It is simply a hard case.

The “Headphone (1) Pro” is available in two colors, “Black” and “White,” with an official retail price of 64,800 JPY including tax.
