On Monday, September 21, 2026 local time, Google began pre-orders for its new laptop brand “Googlebook“—designed for the next-generation intelligent system “Gemini Intelligence” announced in May 2026—on the official Google e-commerce site, the “Google Store,” exactly as promised.
“Googlebook” pre-orders have started in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and Australia. The initial lineup consists of a total of five models: “Acer Googlebook 14,” “ASUS Googlebook 14,” “XPS Googlebook,” “HP Googlebook 14,” and “Lenovo Googlebook 15.”
On the US “Google Store,” pre-orders are available for three models: “Lenovo Googlebook 15,” “XPS Googlebook,” and “Acer Googlebook 14.” The “ASUS Googlebook 14” and “HP Googlebook 14” are being sold through major US electronics retailer Best Buy.
“Googlebook” is scheduled to launch on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the US, and on Monday, October 5, 2026, in other regions. Unfortunately, a Japanese release has not yet been announced.
