Regarding the End of Google Assistant Service on Mobile Devices

このたび、モバイル デバイスにおける Google アシスタントのサービス提供を終了することになりました。これに伴い、Android でのアシスタント機能は、Google の次世代 AI 搭載アシスタント Gemini へと引き継がれます。

モバイル デバイスへの影響
モバイル エクスペリエンスの Gemini への移行に伴い、モバイル デバイスでは Google アシスタントをご利用いただけなくなります。9 月 4 日より、Google アシスタントへのアクセス権の削除を開始します。このプロセスは、すべてのユーザーに適用されるまでに数週間かかる見込みです。提供が終了すると、スマートフォン、タブレット、ペア設定したデバイスで Google アシスタントを使用したり、Google アシスタントに切り替えたりすることはできなくなります。
お使いの Android デバイスが最小システム要件を満たしており、Gemini を利用可能な地域にお住まいの場合、Google がモバイル デバイスで提供するアシスタントは Gemini となります。「OK Google」と話しかけるか、電源ボタンを長押しするなどしてアシスタントを呼び出すと、以前の Google アシスタントではなく Gemini が起動します。

アクセサリーおよびペア設定されたデバイスへの変更
Gemini をモバイル デバイスのアシスタントとして設定すると、モバイル デバイスとペア設定されたデバイスのアシスタントも Gemini になります。対象となるデバイスやアクセサリーは以下のとおりです。

  • Wear OS を搭載したスマートウォッチ
  • Gemini に対応したヘッドフォンまたはイヤホン
  • ユーザーのモバイル デバイスから Android Auto プロジェクションを実行している車両。Google 搭載の自動車では、Google アシスタントは 2026 年 9 月 4 日以降も引き続き機能します。

9 月 4 日以降は、モバイル デバイスと同様、これらのペア設定したデバイスでも Google アシスタントをご利用いただけなくなります。

他のデバイスにおける Google アシスタント
これらの変更は、モバイル デバイス、およびスマートフォンとペア設定されたアクセサリー（スマートウォッチ、ヘッドフォン、カー インフォテインメント システムなど）のアシスタント機能のみに適用されます。
