In other words, despite the mention of “8/12,” pre-orders for the “Pixel 11” series in Japan appear to begin at 7:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
The “Pixel 11” series launch event, “Made by Google (Made by Google 2026),” is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, US local time, which is 7:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2026, Japan time. Regarding pre-orders, the Google Store teaser explicitly stated, “Google Pixel 11 series available for pre-order starting August 12.” While it was initially anticipated that pre-orders might begin ahead of the announcement event, it ultimately turned out to be based on US local time, meaning pre-orders will likely start at 7:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2026, Japan time.
