- In late July 2026, we confirmed that posts from Meta’s social media platform “Threads” have started appearing on “Google Discover.”
- Currently, only English posts have been confirmed to appear.
- Japanese posts have not yet been confirmed.
In September of last year (2025), Google announced support for displaying a wider variety of web content on its content curation service, “Google Discover,” including platforms like “X,” “Instagram,” and “YouTube Shorts.”
Previously, “Google Discover” featured regular websites and “YouTube” videos, but recently the display of regular websites, “YouTube,” “YouTube Shorts,” and “X” has been confirmed. By the way, while the display of “Instagram” posts has not yet been confirmed, it is possible they are appearing depending on the language.
Amidst this trend, in late July 2026, we confirmed that posts from Meta’s social media platform “Threads” have started appearing on “Google Discover.” However, at this point, we have only confirmed the appearance of English posts; Japanese posts have not yet been seen.

The appearance of “Threads” posts in “Google Discover” is likely being rolled out for English posts first. Support for posts in languages other than English will likely be expanded gradually.
Additionally, on Android, you can select the language of the content displayed in “Discover” through the “Discover feed language” settings in the “Google” app.
